Stargazer Privacy
At teammeteorzubll.surf, operated by Team Meteor Zubll Astronomical Society Ltd., we treat user privacy with the same strict care we apply to astronomical observation. This Privacy Policy outlines the minimal extent of data gathered when you visit our celestial gazette.
1. Local Processing of Observation Logs
Our Field Log Entry Tool is engineered intentionally to execute entirely client-side within your browser. When you enter sighting timestamps, apparent magnitudes, coordinates, or notes, this data is processed using local browser memory and is never transmitted to an external server or third-party advertising database without your explicit submission action.
2. Server Log Information
Like standard web servers, our hosting infrastructure automatically captures basic technical metadata upon connection, including your IP address, browser user-agent, operating system, referring URL, and the timestamp of page requests. These server logs are maintained strictly for network stability, denial-of-service mitigation, and server performance diagnostics. We do not sell or cross-profile server logs.
3. Communication Inquiries
If you correspond with our dispatch team via [email protected], we retain your email address and message contents solely for the purpose of answering your observation inquiries or verifying fireball records. We never subscribe your address to marketing distribution lists.
4. Your Rights Under International Regulations
Under GDPR (Europe), CCPA (California), and relevant international privacy statutes, you hold rights to request access to any personal information we hold, to request its rectification or erasure, and to object to data processing. To exercise these rights, submit your request to [email protected].
